TEXCARE Shoe Flex Tester simulates the outcomes of actual walking on the shoe. The specimen of test is held strongly at the toe part using an appropriate toe last and clamp, while the heel part has an individual last on which the shoe is strongly tied as in real use.
Upper-end of the last has an effective system to connect a suitable link mechanism. On a rotating block the mechanism is connected to an eccentric pin so as to provide the link, a to-and-fro movement. Both the length of the link and the eccentricity of the pin in the block are adjustable to offer different angles of deflection of the shoe, with respect to toe's flat portion.
There is a rotating block movement by means of two stage V belt, a motor and pulley arrangement. A digital counter provided with memory backup to record total number of test cycles, and key reset. This standard tester is effectively designed to test one pair of shoes at a time. Also the special models capable of testing two / four / six pairs of shoes are available.
