Introduction
Drop tester is effective for determining the effect of dropping on transport packages. This test assists to determine the ability of the packages and to evaluate the ability of containers to resist rough handling. Also, it helps determine the ability of packing material placed inside the packages for cushioning to give protection to its contents. In this test the package is placed on a frame with two swivel doors. Height of the frame can be easily adjusted to desired value. The doors are opened and package is dropped on to a platform of steel, also the damage extent caused evaluated.
